THE MASERATI 3200 GT

The Maserati 3200 GT stands as a quintessential symbol of Italian automotive excellence, marrying breathtaking design with exhilarating performance. Introduced in 1998, it represented a renaissance for the famed Italian marque, blending cutting-edge technology with timeless aesthetics.

The Maserati 3200 GT emerged during a pivotal period in the marque's history, signaling a resurgence in its fortunes. Developed under the ownership of Ferrari, it represented a fusion of Italian craftsmanship and engineering expertise. Despite its relatively short production run, spanning from 1998 to 2002, it left an indelible mark on the automotive landscape, garnering acclaim for its performance, style, and exclusivity.

It captivates the eye with its timeless design language, blending classic cues with contemporary flair. Its long hood, short overhangs, and flowing lines exude a sense of athleticism and elegance. The iconic Maserati trident adorns the grille, serving as a symbol of prestige and performance. The sleek silhouette, characterized by its low stance and graceful curves, commands attention on the road, effortlessly blending style with aerodynamic efficiency.

One of the most distinctive design elements of the 3200 GT is its mesmerizing boomerang-shaped tail lights. Inspired by the iconic Maserati 3500 GT, these luminous accents add a touch of drama and sophistication to the car's rear profile. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, they serve as a visual signature, enhancing the car's presence and leaving a lasting impression on all who behold it.

THIS CHASSIS NUMBER

The chassis number we offer for sale rolled out from the Modenese HQ in 1999, just before the new Millennium began. It comes freshly serviced and with only 2 owners from new. The kilometers are not a few, 140.000, but we're not surprised to see a sports car like this - born to compete with Porsche and Ferrari - with so much road traveled. In fact, the 6-speed manual ZF gearbox is tremendously fun to operate and it was fitted to just over half of the entire production, which amounted to 4.795 units.

The vehicle comes in silver metallic over a bold interior colour combination (blue/grey) designed by Fumia, at the time the Director of Lancia’s design center. The exterior is in good conditions, but in order to shine like a brand-new 90’s star it needs minor touch-ups to the bodywork. Sticky buttons? No thanks!

In our opinion, the Maserati 3200 GT, Coupé, or however you want to call it, could be one of the next big things in the world of car collecting and we couldn’t be more excited to present you this occasion.

HOW DOES IT DRIVE?

Underneath its sleek exterior lies a powerhouse of engineering excellence. The heart of the 3200 GT is its 3.2-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, delivering a symphony of power and performance. Generating around 370 horsepower and 491 Nm of torque, it propels the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just over 5 seconds, with a top speed touching 280 km/h. This potent engine is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, providing seamless power delivery and exhilarating driving dynamics.

Behind the wheel of the Maserati 3200 GT, one is enveloped in a cocoon of luxury and performance. The cabin exudes opulence, with sumptuous leather upholstery, elegant wood trim, and modern amenities creating an inviting ambiance. As the engine roars to life, the car surges forward with effortless grace, delivering a sensory experience like no other. The precise steering, agile handling, and responsive throttle response instill confidence, while the symphonic soundtrack of the V8 engine elevates the driving experience to new heights.

In conclusion, the Maserati 3200 GT stands as a timeless icon of Italian automotive excellence, blending performance, style, and heritage in equal measure. From its captivating design to its exhilarating driving dynamics, it continues to captivate the hearts and minds of enthusiasts around the world, leaving an indelible legacy that endures to this day.
